St. Lawrence Island – BEAD-151
Project:
The Project, identified as BEAD 151, will deliver SpaceX Starlink Community Gateway service to Gambell and Savoonga, with fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service extended by Quintillion to each Broadband Serviceable Location (BSL). This Request for Proposal (RFP) will include only the activities related to procurement, provisioning, and placement of the two (2) SpaceX Starlink Community Gateways in Gambell and in Savoonga. Service minimums for each community include 1 Gbps Downlink / 0.5 Gbps Uplink (1.5 Gbps Total Site Commit Rate), with options for future scalability to be considered in the early stages and included in pricing options during this procurement stage.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the scope of work required to complete the necessary Outside Plant Engineering (OSPE) of a SpaceX Community Gateway and terrestrial fiber distribution network supporting Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service for the communities of Gambell and Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska, under Quintillion’s Alaska BEAD Project CM61-BEAD-AK-151 (PDPA 20-02). The successful supplier will be responsible for completing the outside plant engineering, including active coordination with Quintillion project management, land and right of way acquisition, permitting, and the SpaceX installation team.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the scope of work required to complete the necessary Outside Plant Engineering (OSPE) of the subsea cable landings and terrestrial fiber distribution network supporting Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service for the communities of Chevak, Scammon Bay, Alakanuk, and Nunam Iqua in the Lower Yukon region of Alaska, under Quintillion’s Alaska BEAD Project CM61-BEAD-AK-055 (PDPA 17-01). The successful supplier will be responsible for completing the outside plant engineering, including active coordination with Quintillion project management, land and right of way acquisition, and permitting teams.
